Please do remember to complete your:

Homework WS for Science

Have a good weekend!

Remembering Mr Lee Kuan Yew

Sounding of the public warning system
The public warning system will be sounded twice island-wide on Sunday at about 4pm to signal the start and end of a minute of silence for the late Mr Lee. The public is advised not to be alarmed.

Friday, 27 March 2015

These are the homework for today.

    - Read about the story on Edmodo
    -Do the Utopia worksheet

Sorry if I missed out anything.

A tribute to Mr Lee Kuan Yew

The tribute we chose is by lawyer Dr Darvinder Singh, as it shows the great lengths that the Founding Father of the nation went in order to secure the country and sought racial harmony between the different ethnic groups of Singapore.
Koh Tong Chun, Robin Vinod, Xavier Ang, Yu Min

Tribute to Mr. Lee Kwan Yew - Part 2 (Caitlin, Nikhita, Rachel, Kady)

This tribute is the most meaningful to us as Mr Lee Kwan Yew was the one who built Singapore. He left a legacy. What he did to change our lives will vividly be etched in our minds. We, residents of Singapore, are proud to have such a father and leader. He showed us that what seems to be impossible can be accomplished. He represented Singapore in everything he did. He is a true leader.

Done by: Caitlin (01), Nikhita (03), Rachel (09), Kady (04)

Biology Homework

Dear class,

Please remember to do your biology worksheet over the weekend as instructed by Ms Lim.
Thank you.

Tribute to Mr Lee Kuan Yew (Sin Siong's group)

By: Sin Siong, Stanley, Ethan, Edric

Comment: We chose this tribute because we believe that Mr Lee Kuan Yew built up the foundations for Singapore, but it is us Singaporeans, that would ultimately help to grow Singapore.

Tribute to Mr Lee Kuan Yew

This tribute is most meaningful to us as quoted from Mr Lee Hsien Loong's speech, "to many Singaporeans, Lee Kuan Yew WAS Singapore." Mr Lee did the impossible and left a legacy behind for us to follow. Dearly missed, never forgotten. He dedicated his whole life to the country and without him we wouldn't be where we are today. His contribution for us is more than we could ever ask for and we can never repay him as much as what he had done for us. Although he is not with us physically, he will be deeply remembered in our heart.

  3. The group should then take a screenshot of the slide from the PDF file, post it on their Class Blog/Facebook Group/G+ Community and explain why the tribute that they have chosen is the most meaningful to them.

---------- Forwarded message ----------
From: Lim Chuay Sia <>
Date: Fri, Mar 13, 2015 at 10:53 AM
Subject: Cell Model Making Instructions

Dear class

Please note the following instructions for Cell Model Making Activity (Worksheet pg 6)

1) Form groups of 4/5. You should have submitted the names of your group members to your Science Rep. If you have not done so, please do it as soon as possible.
2) Create a fully labeled model to show the different parts of a plant or animal cell. It can be 2-D or 3-D. You can create the model in any form. Use your creativity.
3) Prepare a 3-min presentation to present your model to the class.
4) Bring your product on first lesson when school reopens, T2W1, Monday 23 Mar 2015. After much consideration, I think it will be better for you to complete the model over Mar holidays as there are many activities going on when school reopens in Term 2. So let's strive to get the model up during Mar holidays so that we will have a great time on Mon 23 Mar 2015, listening to each other's presentation  Best model will receive a mystery prize.
5) Attached is the rubrics for your cell model.

If you have questions, please feel free to email me. Lastly, happy holidays
